Once a year Ostrava splits into two camps. The players of VŠB-TUO and the University of Ostrava fight for their school's honour — and the stands fight over who puts on the bigger show.

A rivalry since 2014
The thirteenth edition of a battle where everything is at stake. VŠB-TUO leads 7:5 — the University of Ostrava has a score to settle.

Since 2014 the derby has grown from an event for a few hundred students into a sold-out Ostravar Aréna and a Czech record for university sport.
